While Titanic actors and BFFs Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio aren’t a couple IRL, they’re still doing things together that make our hearts melt.

The megastars recently teamed up to raise money for a 28-year-old cancer patient so she could receive life-saving treatment. Gemma Nuttall, a dental nurse from England, found out she had cancer while pregnant, and couldn’t afford the treatment she needed. That’s when our favourite duo came in.

Kate found Nuttall’s GoFundMe page last year after searching online for clinics for her own mother. Once she read Nuttall’s story, she jumped into action and contacted Nuttall’s mother to coordinate funding efforts. After raising some money with the help of Nuttall’s mother, Helen, she decided to bring in extra help.

“We got close to £200,000 and I thought, ‘Right it’s time to call my friend Leo,’” Winslet told British daytime talk show This Morning.

And as we all knew he would, Leo came to the rescue. He and Rose (erm, Kate) auctioned off three dinner dates, which raised over 1.3 million dollars. The duo split the funds down the middle—half went towards Leo’s own foundation, which focuses on protecting the ecosystem, while Winslet’s half was more than enough to pay for Nuttall’s treatment. She also plans to create her own foundation to help cancer patients, which Nuttall will help run.

When news of the good deed broke many people took to Twitter to express their love for the actor.
