Story goes, the track is about Selena Gomez.  In the second verse, you can hear Abel say, “I said I didn’t feel nothing, baby but I lied.  I almost cut a piece of myself for your life.  Guess I was just another pit stop ’till you made up your mind.  You just wasted my time.  You’re on top.”  Dayyyyyyyummmm that was DEEP – don’t worry, Abel, The Biebs was a pit stop, too!

With Instagram posts leading up to the EP’s release, The Weeknd surprised fans by dropping My Dear Melancholy, a 6-track EP which is the follow-up to his 2016’s Starboy album.

The EP is now The Weeknd’s third No. 1 album and according to COMPLEX, it is the shortest album (by track count) to reach the No. 1 spot in 8 years.   ‘Call Out My Name’ isn’t doing so bad either, it’s currently sitting at No. 4 on the Billboard charts and now has well over 40.5 million streams.
