Toronto-born Russell Peters will soon be back on your small screen as co-host of Carol Burnett’s hilarious new Netflix show A Little Help With Carol Burnettavailable for streaming May 4.

The show will see a panel of clever kids attempt to solve the problems of celebrity guests, including the likes of Mark Cuban, Billy Eichner, Taraji P. Henson, DJ Khaled, Lisa Kudrow, Wanda Sykes, and Finn Wolfhard.

Russell Peters joined Damnit Maurie of the Roz & Mocha show to talk about working with the legendary Carol Burnett. “She’s an actual legend!” Peters says. “Some people throw the term “legend around a little too willy-nilly but she’s an actual legend.”

One of Peters favourite parts about filming the show was the children. “The kids definitely made me laugh! “They had no clue [who I was],” Peters joked. “I get to show the paternal side of me, which is nice.”

To see Maurie sit on Peters’ lap (yes, that really does happen), watch the full interview above.
