Jimmy Brooks is back baby!

In typical Drake fashion, the 6ix God released the surprising music video for his latest single, “I’m Upset” late Wednesday night and the video will have you feeling anything other than “upset”.

Drizzy reunites with his former Degrassi co-stars Ephraim Ellis (Rick Murray), Nina Dobrev (Mia Jones), Lauren Collins (Paige Brooks), Shane Kippel (Gavin “Spinner” Mason), Stefan Brogran (Archie “Snake” Simpson); Kevin Smith’s characters “Jay” and “Silent Bob” also make cameos.

As you can probably imagine, fans reacted very strongly online and felt a sense of nostalgia seeing members of the Degrassi cast back together.

The timing of the video is interesting though because Drake has been suspiciously silent since rapper Pusha T came for his neck on the diss record, “The Story of Adidon”, in which he alleges Drake has a son that he has been hiding, among other things.

Not usually one to back down from a rap battle, Drake has yet to respond back to Pusha T, which makes me think we’ll get a response on his album, (at least I hope).

Drake also revealed that his latest album, Scorpion will be released on June 29th.

The music video was once again directed by Karena Evans, the talented woman behind Drake’s “God’s Plan” and “Nice For What” videos.
