Not only is Ariana Grande Billboard’s Woman of the Year but she is now Spotify’s most streamed artist worldwide!

 

According to Billboard, “Between her chart-topping Sweetener album, stirring up excitement with her forthcoming ‘Thank U, Next’ music and unveiling the first episode of the Dangerous Woman docu-series, the 25-year-old pop star is commanding every corner of the industry.  Grande reached the Spotify milestone after surpassing the make of 46.9 million monthly listeners, overtaking Selena Gomez for the worldwide No. 1 spot.  Her ‘Thank U, Next’ single is currently topping the Billboard Hot 100 for a third straight week.”

 

In a recent tweet, Ariana acknowledged the great new and tweeted, “Sheesh.  Thank u.”

In addition, Ariana Grande’s ‘Thank U, Next’ music video broke a new YouTube record for most views in 24 hours.  The music video was viewed more than 46 million times in 24 hours, beating out BTS for their video, ‘Idol’ which was viewed 45.9 million times back in August.

 

Ariana had a rocky beginning to 2018 but sure enough, 2018 turned into Ariana’s year.  A brand new studio album, she announced a world tour and she’s currently working on another new chapter, which fans are extremely excited about.
