Ariana Grande Drops '7 Rings' Video Teaser & Fans Uncover Hidden Messages

We’re exactly three days away from Ariana Grande dropping a new record called ‘7 Rings.’  In addition, Ariana will also be releasing a brand new music video and below is the video teaser Ariana posted earlier on her Instagram page.

Ariana is certainly a woman who loves her clues (like those Easter eggs in her ‘Thank u, Next’ video).  Since dropping her ‘7 Rings’ teaser video, fans from all over have uncovered several hidden clues that could potentially lead to upcoming singles (and ones that lead us right to ‘7 Rings’).  Let’s check some out, shall we!

Clue #1

According to Capital FM, “The number plate on the pink Rolls Royce in the clip [Thank U, Next] has the number’s 19, 85 and 25 on it and some think she’s commemorating her first album ‘Yours Truly’ when she was 19, recently tweeting she feels that era was ’85 years ago’ but others think it could be a hint of the album’s release date.”  Twitter user ‘Luna|7rings’ tweeted, “Ariana is 25, dropped her first single when she was 19 but yesterday said that it feels like 85 years ago.”

Clue #2

So who thinks Ariana knew ‘7 Rings’ would be her followup single to ‘Thank U, Next?’ If you guessed yes, you’re probably right! Here’s why – In Ariana’s ‘Thank U, Next’ video, there were two references made to ‘7 Rings.’  The first, ‘7 Rings’ appeared on the license plate of the black Porsche Ariana was driving and the second, that instrumental you heard in the beginning of the music video – totally ‘7 Rings!’

Clue #3

Check this out – Ariana has been trying to learn the Japanese language for the last few years and most recently, tattooed Eevee, a Pokémon character onto her bicep and ever since she began to promote ‘7 Rings,’ she has used all Japanese writing.  Clues written in Japanese have been seen all throughout the video, especially on these pretty pink bottles below.

Clue #4

There’s a secret voicemail! If you listen carefully throughout the teaser, you can hear Ariana saying, “Honestly, I don’t know that sh**’s funny…This is about to go crazy…again.”

Clue #5

As for the last clue – Twitter user ‘ArianaGrandeAccess’ tweeted, “On the teaser of ‘7 Rings,’ Ariana Grande makes reference to ‘Nasa,’ an upcoming song that will be on her fifth studio album.”  The word ‘NASA’ is spray painted on the side of the car featured in the teaser, and now fans are now assuming it’s a hint from Ariana and her director, Hannah Lux Davis about an upcoming single.
