It’s been four months since DJ Snake, Cardi B, Selena Gomez and Ozuna dropped their fiery collaboration called ‘Taki Taki.’  The music video achieved a massive honour because it was revealed the video has been viewed more than one billion times on YouTube (1,004,850,815 to e exact) and is now part of the ‘Billion View Club.’  Of course, Luis Fonsi’s ‘Despacito’ featuring Daddy Yankee still remains as the most-watched video EVER on YouTube, followed by Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape of You’ and Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s ‘See You Again.’

Billboard writes, “‘Taki Taki’ debuted at No. 1 on the Hot Latin Songs Charts, where it went on to spend a whopping 13 weeks in the penthouse.  It also topped the Dance/Electronic Songs chart, and currently sits at No. 18 on the Billboard Hot 100.”

Even Cardi B added a little something on Insta-Story to celebrate the video’s success.

Here’s a fun fact for ya, according to Your EDM, “‘Taki Taki’ doesn’t seem to have an official meaning.  It’s just a made up term used specifically to make the song catchy – and it works.  The song has the right recipe for a billion-play hit!”

Surpassing one billion views on YouTube in just 16 weeks is a MASSIVE accomplishment and the record is still hot!
