BTS & Halsey Will Perform at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards!

BTS will be making their way to the 2019 Billboard Music Awards and they will be performing alongside Halsey! The news was announced via Billboard’s Twitter page with the caption, “BTS + Halsey.  World TV premiere performance.  It’s happening.”

 

 

 

And this won’t be BTS’ first time at the Billboard Music Awards.  Last year, BTS performed their hit ‘Fake Love’ for the first time on  television.

 

 

 

BTS is nominated for two awards this year – ‘Top Duo/Group’ and ‘Top Social Artist.’  For the past two years, BTS has won ‘Top Social Artist.’  And according to YouTube, BTS’ new video with Halsey had ‘the best-ever first-day music video on the website.’  YouTube tweeted, “Yes, we’re still running the numbers. But we can confirm that ‘Boy With Luv’ feat. Halsey is now *officially* the most-viewed 24 hour debut in @YouTube history!!” 

 

 

As of right now, the music video for ‘Boy With Luv’ has over 117 million views on YouTube!

 

 

 

In addition to BTS and Halsey, other artists have been announced to perform at the 2019 Billboard Awards.  The first round of performers include Kelly Clarkson (who is also the award host), Lauren Daigle Khalid, Sam Smith and Normani, Panic! At the Disco and a special performance by Mariah Carey who is the 2019 ICON Award recipient.
