Fans were quick to notice the French dialogue between Taylor Swift and Brendon Urie at the very beginning of their ‘ME!’ music video.

Since then, Taylor has released a short video clip of BTS footage of all the outtakes from their French-speaking scene.  “I can’t breathe, this is so fun,” Taylor says while arguing in French to Brendon, in front of her cats.  Towards the end of the video, Taylor thanks her ‘French experts’ with a handshake and says, “I appreciate you more than you will ever know.”

Prior to the 2019 Billboard Music Awards, Brendon Urie spoke to Billboard about working with Taylor, “I’ve been a fan of hers for a long time.  The first time that we met, she’s so personable…She’s such a warm and welcoming person and the fact that she has a passion for the things she’s doing just validates it for me that that’s why this matters and this is why I feel so good, because I do the same.  I wanna inspire myself and my fans to do the same and she’s incredible.  We just had so much fun working on that song and her ideas for videos…She’s really collaborative and just a blast to work with.”

Brendon also spoke about brining the collaboration to life and what it was like to receive a text from Taylor herself, “She texted me this very sweet long text.  I teared up at the end because I didn’t expect something like that, for a first text…She sent me the song and I just gushed over her, basically reciprocating the love saying I am such a massive fan of yours, and I can’t wait to work with you on this song. I haven’t had the song out of my head since I heard it first, and it’s been so hard to keep it a secret and now I don’t have to and I’m relieved.”

By the way – Taylor is now offering the audio from her BBMAs performance on both CD and vinyl.  Taylor tweeted, “This was the maximum of fun possible.  And for the first time ever, I’m releasing the live rehearsal audio from this performance on vinyl and CD from BBMAs on my site.  Thank you to every performer up there with us tonight.”

According to Billboard, “One 7″ vinyl version features a picture of Swift and Urie in posing dramatically against a blue sky with puffy clouds, with Swift rocking a puffy pink dress and Urie rocking a white suit with a flowery pattern.  The single also comes in several other formats.”
