When royalty meets royalty.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, aka The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, attended the London premiere of The Lion King where they met music royalty Beyoncé and Jay-Z.

Epic.

So what did they say to each other?!

First, they hug. C’mon.

It’s hard to see exactly everything said since Meghan and Harry have their backs to the camera, and no one was prepared with a microphone to pic up their conversation (anyone have a cell phone listening? Siri?)

Some things that were said:

  • Beyoncé called Meghan “My Princess”
  • Beyoncé to Meghan: “We love you guys. Your baby is so beautiful.”
  • Harry asked about Bey & Jay’s kids, to which Bey said the twins weren’t with them on this trip. They don’t always travel with them.
  • Jay chimed in with some parenting advice: always find time for yourself.

Back in February, Beyoncé and Jay-Z paid tribute to Meghan when they accepted their Brit Award.

They recreated part of their “Apesh*t” video but had a portrait of Meghan instead of The Mona Lisa.

Of course Beyoncé was at the premiere since she plays Nala in the remake that’s in theatres on Friday.

This was the first red carpet for Meghan since she married Harry, and they were there for #ProtectThePride:
