Universal just released the first trailer for Tom Hooper’s movie adaptation of the musical Cats. 

However, the characters are CG, fur covered cat-human hybrids and yes, they’re CREEPY AF.

 

It looks like Avatar, meets The Grinch, meets Alice in Wonderland and not in a pleasing way.

The cast though, is a star-studded lineup including Idris Elba, Taylor Swift, James Corden, Jason Derulo, Ian McKellen, Rebel Wilson, and more.

Cats will hit theatres this Christmas.
