The ninth annual OVO Fest went down last night at Budweiser Stage and as per usual, Drake had a handful of surprises up his sleeve.

First, can we please talk about the oversized replica of the Larry O’Brien trophy on stage? Since the Raptors won this year’s NBA title, you can say Drake and Larry have been the best-of-friends.

Word is – Drake invited the entire team to OVO Fest and gave a shoutout to Kawhi Leonard, Serge Ibaka and Fred VanVleet who were all said to be in attendance.

OVO Fest also had some pretty amazing guest appearances – from Cardi B, to Tyga, Offset, Rick Ross, Chris Brown, Meek Mill and many more.  While Chris Brown performed ‘No Guidance’ along with the 6God, Rick Ross rocked out to ‘Money In The Grave,’ one of the tracks Drake dropped following the Raptors NBA win.

Not all performances were collab-based – Cardi B performed ‘Press’, ‘Bodak Yellow’ and shared the stage with hubby Offset to perform ‘Clout’.

Cardi later posted, “Thank you Drake for bringing me out at OVO fest! S**t was fire.  You see I would do a Cardio fest in The Bronx but ya can’t even behave in Bity Island.”

It looks as though Drake’s former beef with both Meek Mill and Tyga has finally come to an end.  According to NME, “Drake had trolled and mocked him onstage at the same event five years ago when the Philadelphia rapper accused Drizzy of using ghostwriters. The duo officially quashed their beef last year. It also seems that Drake and Tyga officially reconciled at OVO Fest 2019. The latter had fired shots at Drizzy a few years ago, but it seems the beef’s been buried, judging from Drake’s gushing introduction and their tight bear hug.”
