Ariana tweeted, “Signed to Republic Records eight years ago today and released my debut album six years ago.  Thankful for my Republic family and deeply proud of every project we’ve released together.  Music is the most special thing in the world.  Thank you for believing in me and my voice.”

Republic Records tweeted back, “So honoured to be family! We couldn’t be more proud of your growth and dedication.  All the love in the world.”

This isn’t Ariana’s first attempt at thanking her record label – during last year’s award ceremony at Billboard’s Women in Music event, Ariana shared a photo with Monte Lipan, CEO of Republic Records and in the caption, it read, “I know it ain’t always easy being in business w a tiny, Italian, hard ball playing, pixie like me.  I want to thank you for making me feel supported, for trusting my vision and always doing what’s right.”

Since her debut album Yours Truly, released in 2013, Ariana has had four number one albums on the Billboard charts – My Everything (2014), Sweetener (2018) and Thank U, Next (2019).  Below was Ariana’s debut single, The Way with Mac Miller.
