Daryn Jones Live: Chainsmokers Concert Review with Lucas The Intern

In case you missed it: it was my birthday yesterday on Daryn Jones Live!

I know what you’re thinking, do I have a birthday wish? Heck yes! I want to see as many concerts as possible over the next 10 years, and because I’m so eager, I went to a concert right after Daryn’s show!

Who did I see? None other than 5 SECONDS OF SUMMER AND THE CHAINSMOKERS! WOOT

It was the PERFECT mid-week pick me up. If you haven’t seen either band live before, do so ASAP because they can put on a SHOW!

After opener Lennon Stella (who was nothing short of amazing, by the way) it was 5 Seconds of Summer turn to take to the stage! The band kicked off their set with Amnesia, (which had all the girls in tears) and fan favourites “Youngblood” and their collaboration with The Chainsmokers “Who Do You Love” (which still had girls in tears)!

Once the tears were shed, and screams were heard, it was time to PARTY HARD with The Chainsmokers! They played all the EDM beats, performed their massive hits “Closer”, “Don’t Let Me Down”, “Paris” and “Roses”, and played with fire, fireworks, motorcycles, smoke and a big ball.

Can’t you just feel the party?! Such a fun night that proved to be the perfect kickoff for my birthday wish.
