After listening to Selena’s new jam (in my case, repeatedly) here’s why fans think this song is totally about Justin Bieber … and it has everything to do with the lyrics!

Following the release of Selena’s new song, on Instagram she wrote, “I’m literally just laying down and thanking Jesus … Where my father has taken me and placing me is exactly where I am meant to be.  He said to me, ‘Selena hold on, I hurt when you hurt.  I cry when you cry but i will NEVER, EVER leave your side.  Work with me, walk with me and watch how I do it.’  He always surprises me and I re-fall in love with Him every single time.  In my worst moments – i never stopped falling to my knees, wanting and needing only His Love.  See the enemy keeps trying to tear me down and it’s just not gonna happen.  Not today.  Not the next..”

Although ‘Lose You To Love Me’ has already stolen the hearts of Selena’s mom, Mandy Teefey and best friend Taylor Swift, it looks like not everyone is a fan *cough cough* Hailey Bieber!

Hours after the songs release, Hailey posted this super-cryptic screenshot on her Insta-Story, a song called ‘I’ll Kill You’ by Summer Walker – and guess what … the fans are NOT okay with this!

On VEVO, Selena writes, “This song was inspired by many things that have happened in my life since releasing my last album.  I want people to feel hope and to know you will come out the other side stronger and a better version of yourself.”

“Lose You to Love Me” marks Selena’s first single off her upcoming album which, will be the follow-up to her 2015 album, Revival.
