When in doubt.. Turn something old into a TV show, right?

The year was 1997.

BSB and Spice Girls were on your radio.

And Julia Roberts was in a wholllllle bunch of movies.

Now while this particular one with Cameron Diaz and Hugh Grant wasn’t her biggest, it certainly had a lot of box office sales. Flash forward almost 20 years to now, where you pretty much only see it on Sunday afternoons on your television.

Ready for more? ABC is apparently doing a reboot of the old movie, but tv style. Teaming up with the original writer of the movie, a series is in the works and focuses on post wedding life. None of the original actors will be in it, and it’s rumored to be on tv screens in 2016.

Can’t we just leave well enough alone?
