Kobe, along with his 13-year old daughter Gianna, and seven other people were all victims during last weekends helicopter crash in Calabasas, killing all passengers, including the pilot.  The Lakers took on the Portland Trail Blazers and prior to the beginning of their game, they honoured Kobe.

During the halftime show, Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth paid tribute to all victims and performed their massive tribute record, See You Again.  Towards the end of their performance, Wiz says in the mic, “To the late Kobe Bryant.  Peace and blessing to his entire family. His legacy is gonna be remembered. We love you Kobe.”  ‘See You Again’ was originally released back in 2015, and made tribute to the late Paul Walker and is also featured on the Furious 7 soundtrack.

Other tributes from last nights game includes Usher single ‘Amazing Grace,’ Kobe on the screen talking about basketball, his legacy and family and a cellist playing ‘Hallelujah.’

As everyone in attendance took home a No. 24 jersey, two seats were left empty, accompanied with red roses and both Kobe and Gianna’s basketball jerseys.  Vanessa Bryant posted a photo on her Instagram page, writing in the caption, “There is no no#24 without #2.”
