Much like many other artists who are debating whether to release their album during this tumultuous time, Lady Gaga has decided to hold off releasing her album Chromatica.

The original release date for the album was Friday, April 10th, but it’s now on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Gaga expresses via Twitter, “This is such a hectic and scary time for all of us, and while I believe art is one of the strongest things we have to provide joy and healing to each other during times like this, it just doesn’t feel right to me to release this album with all that is going on during this global pandemic.”

Gaga has not announced a new date for her album drop, but has mentioned this news will be shared soon.
