The Weeknd’s 4th album is thriving since it’s release on March 20th, and its numbers have resulted in making it the biggest debut album of 2020!

With 444,000 equivalent album units sold in it’s first week of its debut, it quickly became the most popular album release in 2020, taking the top spot away from BTS’s Map of the Soul 7, which sold 422,000 units in its first week.

The Weeknd ALSO holds the title for biggest streaming week ever for an R&B album, with 220.7 million on-demand streams registered for After Hours’ songs in its first week!

The biggest hits on After Hours are “Heartless” and “Blinding Lights”, with “After Hours” now on the rise. Our Canadian starboy is shining bright, and we’re here for it!
