Along with the single comes an accompanying video, which was directed by Billie.  According to Billboard, “The clip was filmed in one take, without the use of stunt doubles or visual effects for the vehicles,” and includes 25 stunt drivers driving around Billie at night.

In the teaser, which was posted to Billie’s Instagram page, she writes, “I can’t wait for this one.  One of my favorite videos I’ve directed.”

Opening up about her upcoming album, Billie tells Rolling Stone, “I don’t know how to explain this, but all the songs on the album feel like a specific time, because they feel like when I wrote them and made them.  It’s so funny that to the rest of the world it’s going to feel like a certain moment for them, and it’s going to be so different than mine. That’s such a weird, weird thing to wrap my head around.  And I will f—ing love it. I love it. That’s the reason you do this.  It’s for that … I hope people break up with their boyfriends because of it. And I hope they don’t get taken advantage of.”

Talking with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Billie says ‘she’s happy that NDA is seeing the light of day,’ “We literally made that whole song in two days or something, a day, I don’t know.  But it was a fun, satisfying-ass process. It was very, very fulfilling.”

Billie also commented on the music video saying, “It’s definitely one of the coolest videos I’ve ever made in my life, and I directed it,” she said. “It was pretty crazy, it’s real too.”  Watch Billie’s interview below.

NDA is the follow up to ‘Lost Cause,’ ‘My Future,’ ‘Your Power,’ and ‘Therefore I Am,” off of Happier Than Ever.
