'Xena' Reboot Rumoured to Be In The Works!!!

The Warrior Princess returns!!!!

A reboot of the classic TV show ‘Xena’, which ran from 1995 to 2001 is rumored to be in the works at NBC. This is the point where half of you are saying who?! And the other half are going:

Xena was a very popular show in the 90’s and early 2000’s about a warrior princess, played by Lucy Lawless. The show was cancelled in 2001, but the cult following has continued and they are now begging for a modern film or TV adaption of the show to be made.

If you are one of these fans, don’t get your hopes up yet. NBC is apparently looking for a writer to pen the modern reboot and an actress to star in it, but the production is still very much in the rumor phase. Lucy Lawless tweeted this to keep fans’ from getting their hopes up right away:

Yeah, we’re pretty bummed too, but fingers crossed!!!
