The 1975 took part in BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge Month Special to perform two massive covers; Justin Bieber’s ‘Sorry’ and One Direction’s ‘What Makes You Beautiful’. The band was accompanied by an entire orchestra and gave their own spin on the two records. Check them out below and let me know what you think!

This isn’t the 1975’s first time covering Bieber’s ‘Sorry’ for the Live Lounge. Check out their performance from back in February.

They also covered One Direction’s ‘WMYB’ back in 2013…

Matt Healy, frontman for the 1975 recently took to Twitter to announce that fans could expect new music from the band next year.

He also spoke to Billboard back in May and said, “I’m always making an album. I’m always confused by the language of bands who are ‘going to make a record’ or not being able to write on tour. I think that’s just something you do – whenever, wherever.”
