Oh How the Almighty Have Fallen; Memes are Now Bigger Than Jesus

2016 years later, something has finally dethroned Jesus. According to Google trends, this is the first time that more people have searched for memes more than Jesus.

The milestone happened in August of this year, but the Internet is just taking notice. As we celebrate this historic moment, we should remember some of our favourite memes; Pepe, Crying Jordan, Spongebob, Arthur, and our true savour, Harambe.

However, as Gizmodo writes, searches for Jesus do rise around Christmas, so there is time for Jesus to retake his throne in time for his B-Day.
