Roz & Mocha Are Still Waiting For April The Giraffe To Give Birth!

Beyonce announced that she’s pregnant with twins back in February but more people are sticking their neck out for a different soon to be mom!

Hundreds of thousands of people have made watching April The Giraffe on the live feed a part of their day and that includes Mocha!

Logging into the live feed at April’s home at the Animal Adventure Park in Harpursville, N.Y. has become a part of Mocha’s day, as soon as he arrives to KiSS 92.5 in the morning he logs into the feed for the entire show… Are you doing the same at your work?

Poor April must be so bored just standing there all day, mostly looking at the camera with the world watch. But today she got a special delivery… No, not her baby, new toys!

This morning Roz & Mocha were talking about how April’s belly was expanding and Mocha explains that the zoo experts were saying that the baby is bigger than before and it shows in her belly.

Roz had learned that it’s not uncommon for the baby to be sticking out and the mom not even be in labor yet! “I’m sorry, if the baby is sticking out of you… You’re in labor!” Roz said while talking about these crazy facts. “You know how big those baby giraffe are??!! Like 150lbs!!” Roz says in shock.

Roz & Mocha go on to say that as soon as the baby is born, “you know there will be on big giant thing about naming the baby” Mocha jokes as he remembers when people had to name a boat and called it “Boaty McBoat Face”

Here’s what we know about April… She’s over due!!  April’s tentative due day was mid-February, she is very close but it could still be hours or days. She’s 15 years old, in human care giraffes live up to 20-27 years old. Zoo officials explain that it’s not very likely that you will be able to tell April’s labor until you see an actual hoof begin to poke out of her rear-end. If you’re wondering why this live feed is even happening, it turns out it’s being broadcast because Animal Adventure Park is currently in its off-season so the park is closed to visitors.
